   What is a great Leader? A great leader is someone who inspires people to do something good and to stand up for what they believe to be right like.  Martin L. king Jr, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, thurgood Marshshall and Ida B. Wells


       Martin L. King was born January 15,1929 in Atlanta Georgia. Through his activism he played a pivotal role in ending the legal segregation of African-American citizens the south and many other areas. Like the civil rights act of 1964 and voting right’s act of 1956.


        Harriet Tubman was born 1820 in Maryland. Harriet Tubman was an African-American woman who escaped from slavery in the south .She led hundreds to freedom in the north as the most famous conductor on the Underground Railroad.

         Rosa Parks was born February 4,1913 in Tuskegee Alabama. Rosa Park was on African American woman who refused to give up her seat to a white woman, Rosa Park spurred a city –wide boycott and the city had no choice to remove the laws requiring segregation on public buses.


        Malcolm X was born on May 19 1950 in Omaha Nebraska.   Malcolm X was a prominent black nationalist leaded who served as a spokesman for the nation of Islam During the 1950s and 60s.


       Thurgood Marshall born July 2 1908 inn Baltimore Maryland. Marshall studied law at Howard university he utilized the Judiciary to champion equality for African Americans .In 1954 he won Brown vs. Board of equation case




      Ida B. Wells was born In Holly Spring, Mississippi on July 16 1862.Ida B.Wells went onto found and become integral in group striving for African American justice.

 In Conclusion Martin L. King Jr, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Thurgood Marshall and Ida B.Wells they were great Leaders.
